Which PandaDoc plan do you actually need?

Tick what your team needs. The picker shows the lowest PandaDoc plan that covers every requirement and which requirement set it, so you neither hit a feature wall nor pay for headroom you never use.

How the plan picker decides

Every requirement sets a floor. The first requirement that only Business or Enterprise covers decides your plan, however few users you have. Seat count changes the bill, not the plan: a two-person team that needs approval workflows still needs Business. Once the floor is set, optimise cost within that plan rather than buying a lower one and working around the gaps.

Which PandaDoc plan do most sales teams need?

Business. It is the first plan with CPQ pricing tables, approval workflows, a full content library and the native CRM integrations a sales team uses every day. Starter suits one or two people sending simple agreements; Enterprise is a governance and scale decision driven by SSO, workspaces, API limits or procurement.

What happened to the PandaDoc Essentials plan?

PandaDoc now calls its entry paid plan Starter. Older articles, including some of ours, refer to it as Essentials. The shape is the same: eSignatures, the document editor and a capped number of templates, without CPQ, approvals or the deeper CRM integrations.

Can different teams in one company be on different PandaDoc plans?

No. A PandaDoc account sits on one plan and every user shares it. If one team needs a Business-only feature, the account needs Business, or you run separate accounts and lose the shared content library and integration setup.

Is the plan picker an official PandaDoc tool?

No. It is our directional read as a Certified PandaDoc Premier Partner, based on the feature matrix we use on pre-purchase calls. PandaDoc revises which features sit on which plan, so confirm the exact feature and current price on the PandaDoc pricing page before you buy.

Does the right plan fix a slow proposal process on its own?

Rarely. Most teams we speak to already own PandaDoc; what is missing is the build: native templates, a loaded catalog, mapped CRM fields and approvals. The plan sets what is possible, the setup decides whether reps actually get faster.
